Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili finished participation in the tournament (35 000 USD) which is underway in the city of Russia, Tyumen. The Georgian top seed was losing to No.5 seed Illya Marchenko of Ukraine 5:6 when he retired.
It is worth mentioning that the 20-year-old Basilashvili was beating his opponent 5:2 but then he lost 4 games in a row. Perhaps, it happened because of injury. In the first round Nikoloz defeated Yuri Schukin of Kazakhstan 6:2, 2:6, 6:3 and earned 6 points.
Basilashvili has 142 points and is in the 316th place on ATP ranking.

In the qualifying draw Giorgi Revazishvili lost to No.16 seed Marasin of Moldova 1:6, 3:6. Giorgi Tsivadze (No.14 seed) lost to Danes of France 4:6, 6:3, 6:7 (3:7). Aleksandre Metreveli was losing to Schutt of Germany 3:6, 1:4 when he retired.
As for Giorgi Javakhishvili, he was beating Mavropoulos-Stoliarenko of Greece 6:3, 2:0 when his opponent retired. In the second round the Georgian lost to Ciumac of Moldova 2:6, 6:4, 3:6. Javakhishvili made through to the main draw as “lucky loser” but there he lost to Schutt – 4:6, 3:6.
In doubles draw Javakhishvili and Tsivadze lost to Croatians 6:4, 6:7 (5:7), 3:10.
