In sparring match between Georgian national men chess team and Azerbaijani national team, Azerbaijan has a serious superiority. The second round started well for Georgians, Levan Pantsulaia (2518) beat Gadir Husienov (2609), but in other matches, Georgians gained only a point, finally the match ended 3.5:6.5. As far as you know the match is held according to the Shveningan’s system in 5 rounds- each player has 90 minutes for each move and then 30 minutes till the end of the match +30 seconds from the first move
In the third match Azerbaijani team plays with white pieces, in the fourth round Georgians has that superiority, in the fifth round it will be found out in extra ballot. It is newsworthy that the results of this sparring match will not reflect on their ranking.
