Attack, Attack!

Georgian fans went back to stadium due to hopeful start of Georgian National Team at qualifying round of European Championship 2012. It is difficult to remind, when there was such sold out at National Stadium (According to statistics it happened on 7 February in 2007 at friendly match against Turkey (1:0)). It is naturally that was strong support, but unfortunately fans could not see goal in rival’s goal. But they calmed themselves that there was not scored any goal in their goal too.
Comparing to the match against Greece, Temur Ketsbaia made only one change in the main staff – Ananidze played instead of Kvirkvelia. First liner of “Spartak” was playing behind Dvalishvili. His activity most of all in the first half created some danger in front of rival’s goal. First danger was created at the 8th minute in front of D. Aouate’s goal. Attack started in the right wing, Iashvili assisted to Ananidze, he kicked and goalkeeper could not parry it out, Dvalishvili owned ball but defenders played well and saved the situation. Georgian players attacked once more, Lobjanidze assisted to Gogua from the right wing, he assisted to Iashvili but defenders played well again.
After ten minutes “crusandars” made real storm. Gogita Gogua started attack from the left wing, the pick of this attack was at the 17h minute, when he kicked penalty in 30 meter distance, which touched goalposts.  In the middle of the first half was not attack in direction of guests’ goal but Jews could not contra-attack to Revishvili’s goal. At the 35th minute Dvalishvili could score after corner kick of Ananidze. Striker of “Maccabi” Haifa kicked with left leg but it was not exact. In some minutes Ananidze attacked but no result.

Before five minutes of first half end Jews attacked first time, forward B. Sahar started strike from the left wing, he kicked but it crashed to Asatiani, goalkeeper ensured himself and –corner kick. L. Refaelov kicked penalty in 25 meter distance, but goalkeeper parried it out.
After rest Ketsbaia to strengthen attack changed Iashvili and Siradze appeared on the pitch instead of him. During 18 minutes Georgian Team was attacking Jews with two forwards. Dvalishvili and Siradze in a couple were attacking, Lobjanidze also helping them. He was shown yellow card as well as in the last match, in a result to it he will not play against Malta.
Head coach of Gergian National Team used all his resource for attack, he let Merebashvili play. “Mereba” aggravated attack but without any result. S. Arbeitman and G. Vermouth were ready any time to attack Georgians’ goal but defenders were playing well.   Kakha Kaladze was defending Revishvili’s goal from Y. Benayoun, who is the most experienced in Jew National Team (player of “Chelsea”).

Malkaz Asatiani “Lokomotivi” Moscow did his best in defense, no doubt that he was the best player of the match.

It is true that Ketsbaia’s team plays better in defense than in attack. Team did not win in 5 matches were held this year, there was scored 2 goals in their goal. It is quite pleasant that “Crusandars” formed unbeaten psychology but now, it is time to learn forwards scoring. It is obvious that there is lack of classic playmaker in team. Nowadays midfielders are typical defensive midfielders not playmakers. As for Ananidze he is only 17-year-old and it is early to expect from him being decisive player.
