"Armia" Learns the Names of Its Rivals

 

 

There was held seedings for Euro Basket in FIBA headquarter located in the city of Germany, Freising. As a result, it was found out that “Armia” -champion of Georgia and the only Georgian representative will play in group H. Other members of this group are the following basketball clubs: Belgium “Antverpen”, German “Telecom Basket” and Jewish “Hapoel Holon”. There will be 32 clubs in Euro Challenge, the 28 Regular Season teams (among them is "Armia") and the four (4) Qualifying Round winners are divided into four (4) seeding pots of eight (8) teams each.
On September 25-October 2 will be held qualifying round, group stage starts on November 6 and “Armia” will hold match against “Hapoel” Holon and then it will host “Antverpen” in Tbilisi.

Champion of Georgia will hold the next match against “Telecom” in Georgia and supposedly it will be in top two clubs in the group and will go through the next stage. On April 26-28 is held “Four’s Final 2013”. Where the final is held it is not known yet.
