"Armazi" was Strictly Punished

 

The discipline commission of Georgian Rugby Union fined “Armazi” with 2000 GEL, has taken one point off due to put out match with “Kharebi”.
The XIII round match of Georgian Championship was deranged between “Kharebi” and “Armazi” on October 7 and that’s why “Kharebi” was punished in such way. “Armazi” was winning over its opponent 7:3 when started fighting. Referee took control over the match and played went on but soon rugby players started fighting again. The referee did not let players to continue the match. 8 minutes left since finishing the first half.
According to preliminary information there was suspicious that both of the clubs would be taken points off, but as it seems discipline commission of Rugby Union charged players of “Armazi” by 1.12 clause of discipline codex which is the following: “if the match will be put out due to some coach, players (fans) of the team, this team will be a looser and will be fined with 2000 GEL. In special occasion discipline commission will discuss to disqualify some teams’ stadium”.

The match between those clubs was held in neutral stadium, so the stadium will not be disqualified. There is not information about players who will be punished by discipline commission. “Armazi” has to pay its fine 2000 GEL till November 9,2010.
