European U-23 Fencing Cup has just ended up. Georgian sportsmen also participated in it. We talked to Archil Gogelia, president of Fencing Federation, about European Cup and future plans.

- How do you estimate competition of U-23 fencers at European Cup?

- Very Positively. We won one gold (Sandro Bazadze) and bronze (Beka Bazadze) medals.

- What can you say about upcoming tournaments?

- U-19 fencers are leaving for Poland to compete in World Cup.

- Do you we have chance to gain Olympic license in this sport?

- Yes, we have. Sandro and Beka Bazadze have chance; also Mikheil Mardaleishvili who took the third place at World Championship. From juniors: Teona Aptsiauri and Teona Kakhiani; also Kakha Magradze.
