Arabidze is still in Top 10

 

 

Georgian chess player Meri Arabidze (2379) played draws with Pole Claudia Kulon (2259) and Jovana Voinovich (2337) of Montenegro in the third and the fourth round of World Youth championships. As a result she is in the ninth place with 3.0 points.
In the fifth round Arabidze plays against Ukrainian Iria Petrova with white pieces, another Georgian chess player Nani Unapkoshvili (2011), who is in the 33th place with 2.0 points, plays against Lina Orozkova (2150) of Columbia with black pieces.
In the fourth round Ziazulkina (2342) of Belarus, Bodnaruk (2414) of Russia, Romanian Bulmaga (2380), Guo of China (2358) and Goriachkina of Russia (2361) are leading the tournament with 3.5 points.

At men’s tournament, Shalva Nadirashvili (2151) is in the 60th place with 2.0 points and Dimitri Kvaratskhelia (2093) is in the 91st place with 1.5 points.

World Junior Championships are based on Swiss system. The last round will be held on August 15. August 9 is a day-off.
