This evening Peter Seisenbacher, Austrian coach of Georgian judo team, named those judokas who will leave for Turkish meeting at Shota Chochishvili Judo Academy. “World Sport” knew the list of judokas one day earlier but before the last moment coaches made one change in the staff – heavyweight Zviad Khanjaliashvili was added to the list instead of Saba Gavashelishvili (90 kg).
Georgian team will leave for Turkey on March 27 and they will participate in 6-day joint trainings in Ankara.
“We pay attention to training with foreign judokas. It is one of the most important parts of our plan. We assented with Turkey that joint meeting will be held in Georgia too. It will be more useful because all candidates of the team will have chance to show themselves” – stated Peter Seisenbacher.
Georgian team will train with the following staff in Ankara: 60 kg - Amiran Papinashvili and Betkil Shukvani, 66 kg – Shalva Kardava and Giorgi Shoshiashvili, 73 kg – Nugzar Tatalashvili, Ambako Avaliani and Tengiz Paposhvili, 81 kg – Avtandil Chrikishvili, Levan Tsiklauri and Davit Karbelashvili, 90 kg – Varlam Liparteliani, 100 kg – Irakli Tsirekidze, Levan Zhorzholiani and Ioseb Mskhaladze, +100 kg – Nodar Metreveli and Zviad Khanjaliashvili. Zurab Zviadauri will leave for Turkey with Georgian team.
