- What do you think about upcoming match against Poland?
- I am in good physical condition and motivated. All matches not matter is sparring or official, all of them are important. Very important period starts for Georgian National Team. Matches against Malta and Latvia are ahead us in September.
- Malta, Latvia, Greece – in case of winning in these three matches, taking the second place is possible. How do you think is it possible or not?
- Unfortunately it is not depended only on us. Other matches also should have profitable results for me. In other case I would talk in other way. In any case we have to do our best.
- You are competing gain very well in Russia. What is goal of “Krasnodar”, going through eight clubs?
- No, it is not our goal. “Krasnodar” is a new club and the main staff has changed this year, the club is being built. To make any serious goal in such process is not real. We fight for positive results in nay match and supposedly we will keep the place in Premier League.
- But “Krasnodar” really has chance of going through the top 8, it is on the 9th place.
- Your goal is to show better and better result. We just play good football and taking some places is not our goal. “Krasnodar” is a new club in any case. Do not forget that Russian Premier League is very difficult and it is not easy to take top places.
- What can you say about fans, how much active support “Krasnodar” has?
- 16-17 spectators attended the last match against CSKA. Time by time the number of spectators grows. We do not have as many spectators as “Kuban” has but we also feel support. Just “Kuban” is a strong team and “Krasnodar” was created 3-4 years later.
- As a rule clubs from the same city are enemies, what can you say about “Krasnodar” and “Kuban”?
- Enemity is really exaggerated, but there is tense between our fans.
- You are considered as one of the best defenders of Premier League, do not you have any offer from other successful Russian clubs?
- I do not want to change the club, changing apartment and club is very tiring. “Krasnodar” is ambitious club and I believe that we will have better result next year. The club is developing and growing and plus I have four-year agreement with the club.
- On July 29 there was held ballot of the qualifying round of Mundial -2014. Spain, France, Finland, Belarus – your comment about rivals is interesting…
- It goes without saying that it is one of the strongest groups. But we should not have fare of our rivals. Being favorites is one thing and playing is another. Football is loved by millions of people, because prognosis is very difficult.
- What was your reaction when the ballot finished?
- To tell the truth I did not expected such group. Playing against such grandees is very difficult, but it is interesting too. But much time is ahead before it. Qualifying matches of European Championship is ahead us before that.
