The 25-year-old Georgian forward Giorgi Alaverdashvili signed contract with Lithuanian “Kruoja” which took the fourth place last year. Alaverdashvili played for Lithuanian “Banga” in the second half of last year’s season. He scored 11 goals in 15 matches and transferred to Romanian “Pandurii”.

Giorgi signed contract with “Pandurii” but the Romanians broke it at the end of February.

“Kruoja” held meeting in Italy and returned to Latvia.

“I do not want to return to Romania. I refused “Tirgu Mures”. I will play for “Kruoja” till the end of the season and then I will try to transfer to another club. Offer of “Tirgu Mures” was better than “Kruoja”. I think, it will be a good championship this year. Many legionaries returned and there will be six strong teams”, - Alaverdashvili told “World Sport”.
