Adam Okruashvili became the wrestler of Georgian wrestling 2011 year. The tournament held in Judo academy named after Shota Chochishvili ended with the same result as it was in heavy weight category in Georgian judo championship, which has been held recently. Okruashvili won over Khanjaliashvili and became champion the third times in a row. Mirian Gonjilashvili won over Ushangi Kokauri and took the third place.
There were 22 participants in this following tournament. Onise Bugadze was the most distinguished judoka among those sportsmen who could not manage to win medal.  He stopped competing after difficult fight with future champion. Paata Gviniashvili also lost chance of becoming champion with Okruashvili. Adam Okruashvili was awarded with 3 000 GEL by organizers. Khanjaliashvili was awarded with 2 000 GEL and Gonjilashvili with 1000 GEL.
