Georgian national team lost the second round match of European Championship (group D) 58:65. It is a pitiful failure, because victory was very close.. in the middle of the fourth quarter for a minute and half point difference was 2 points (50:52), but finally Russians managed to win this match.

Manuchar Markoishvili was the best among Georgians, he scored 21 points. Zaza Pachulia scored 11 points and Viktor Sanikidze scored 10 points.
Andrey Kirilenko gained 20 points, Sergey Monia 12 in Russian team.
