Georgian national Judo Team with 7 judokas will wrestle at World Cup which is held in Budapest, February 12-13. The team which wrestled at Paris Grand Slam was changed, exclusion is only Betkil Shukvan (60 kg) which will appear on tatami next weekend. Besides him Sandro Iakobashvili (66 kg), Zebeda Rekhviashvili (73 kg), Davit Karbelashvili (81 kg), Lasha Guruli, Saba Gavashelishvili (both of them 90 kg) and Nodar Metreveli (+ 100 kg) will wrestle at World Cup.
Davit Asumbani (60 kg), Shalva Kardava (66 kg) and Davit Loriashvili were in the preliminary staff for Budapest World Cup but due to injuries they will not be participate in this tournament. Ambako Avaliani (73 kg) was injured rib at World Cup in Tbilisi and because of it he was not called up for Budapest World Cup. He will wrestle at two international tournaments in February. On February 19-20 is held in Dusseldorf Grand Prix and World Cup in Warsaw on February 26-27.
