6 Medals from Sofia

 

Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team won 2-2 gold, silver and bronze medals at the traditional international tournament which was held in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, on February 3-5. Kemal Kharabadze (55 kg) was the last wrestler of Begi Darchia who stood on the pedestal. He lost the final and won silver medal.

Georgian team arrived in Sofia with optimum staff. Vladimer Gegeshidze (84 kg) and Soso Jabidze (96 kg) became champions. Manuchar Tskhadaia (74 kg) won silver medal. Zurab Datunashvili (74 kg) and Sandro Dikhaminjia (96 kg) won bronze medals.
