The Al Ain international tournament ended up with victory of Georgian grandmaster Gaioz Nigalidze (2536).

Nigalidze who was No.28 seed earned 7 points and shared the first-fourth places with Tigran Petrosian (Armenia, 2651), Vladimir Onischuk (Ukraine, 2614) and Sergei Zhigalko (Belarus, 2672). The Georgian was declared winner.

Nigalidze earned 30 elo points and 11 000 USD.

In the last round Gaioz beat compatriot Mikheil Mchedlishvili (2625) who took the 20^th place with 6.0 points. Luka Paichadze (2561) took the 30^th place with 5.5 points and Bachana Morchiashvili (2337) took the 67^th place with 4.5 points.
