Jobava Earned 75 Points

Georgian chess player finished Tashkent Grand Prix in the 4th place and earned 75 points.

In the last round Jobava played draw with Shakhriyar Mamedyarov of Azerbaijan and earned 6 points in 11 rounds.

Dmitry Andreikin of Russia (2722) became a champion with 7.0 points. Mamedyarov (2764) and Hikaru Nakamura of America (2764) took the second-third places.

After two stages Caruana is leading with 230 points. Nakamura is in the second place with 207 points. Jobava is in the 11th place.

The Georgian grandmaster will participate in other two stages – on February 14-28 in Tbilisi (Georgia) and on May 13-27 in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia).
