Moudania, the city of Greece, will host European Cup Juniors tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. In honor of Jarji Zviadauri, Georgian youth team will compete in “Iliadis Cup” with expanded staff. Head coach Gia Gugava has 33 sportsmen in the list.
The team of Gugava will compete in the first foreign tournament of the year with the following staff: Leri Chelidze, Giorgi Sachaleli, Giorgi Natatralishvili, Mindia Gholijashvili (all 55kg), Vazha Margvelashvili, Gela Kelikhashvili, Giorgi Gugulashvili, Lekhum Chkhvimiani (60kg), Beka Vibliani, Beka Tughushi, Irakli Lomidze, Andro Beruashvili (66kg), Pridon Gigani, Mikheil Mezurnishvili, Apolon Zurabiani, Levan Gugava (73kg), Beka Ghviniashvili, Beka Gonghvani, Davit Gazdeliani, Aleksandre Zaalishvili, Bachana Titvinidze (81kg), Lasha Taveluri, Tornike Otinashvili, Giorgi Setieli, Beka Ratiani, Shalva Chocheli (90kg), Guram Tushishvili, Shmagi Oniani, Karlo Nemsitsveridze (100kg), Levan Matiashvili, Guga Kibordzalidze, Giorgi Zakariadze and Rostom Khakhaleishvili (+100kg). Besides the boys, girls will also wrestle on Greek tatami. Georgian team will have only one participant - Nona Merabishvili (52kg).
