On March 24-25 Riga hosts international junior tournament of Greco-Roman and free-style wrestling –“Freidenfelds Cup” according to the decision of Nugzar Skhireli (free-style) and Adeishvili (Greco-Roman) head coaches of Georgian national wrestling teams and authority of the federation, Georgian team represents expanded staff at this tournament.

On Wednesday, Georgian delegation leaves for Latvia. As Malkhaz Jorbenadze general secretary of the federation stated, 34 Georgian wrestlers represent Georgia in Riga. Head coaches chose prize-winners and champions of Georgia, who were found out two months ago. Temur Kazarashvili vice-president of federation is invited as referee at “Freidenfelds Cup”. Edisher Machaidze is a delegate of the tournament.

After returning from Latvia, youth teams will start preparation. On April 25-28 they will compete again at international tournament “Azerbaijani Federation Cup”. On June 19-24 European championship in this age category is to be held in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. On September 4-9, the city of Thailand, Pattaya hosts World Championship- Junior.
