Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili has successful start at Paris Masters (5 444 985 EUR).
In the first round the 26-year-old Basilashvili faced Australia’s John Millman. The Georgian won the first set 6:4 and then, his opponent retired due to injury.
Nika earned 45 ranking points. In live-ranking he is in the 20th place with 1795 points.
In the second round Basilashvili will play South Africa’s Kevin Anderson. Last week these two played against each other in Vienna and Basilashvili lost.
Nikoloz is also participating in doubles with Wesley Koolhof of Netherlands. They will face America’s John Isner and Neal Skupski of Great Britain.
