Guram Tushishvili (+100 kg) won gold medal at World Championship which is underway in Baku.
In final the No.1 seed Georgian beat Ushangi Kokauri of Azerbaijan by ippon.
Guram Tushishvili defeated four opponents before the final. He won over Daniel Natea of Romania, Yakiv Khammo of Ukraine, Roy Meyer of Netherlands and Duurenbayar Ulziibayar of Mongolia.
The Georgian judo team finished World Championship with three medals. Amiran Papinashvili (60 kg) won bronze medal and Varlam Liparteliani (100 kg) won silver medal.
Tomorrow team championship will be held in Baku but without Georgians.
