Unpleasant Slap from Luxembourg

The Georgian national team finished preparing for Nations League unsuccessfully. The team of Vladimir Weiss played Luxembourg at Stade Josy Barthel and lost 0:1.

It must be said that it was an experimental composition. It is a pity that failure against Luxembourg was like a slap in the face for us. Despite the fact that our team has had progress recently (draw with France, Bulgaria and Senegal) and has not lost five matches in a row.

As for the match, Weiss made some changes in the composition. Guram Kashia, Vakhtang Chanturishvili and Giorgi Aburjania were in lineup but it did not pay off. Crusaders started the match well, had some good moments but could not score a goal.

The hosts held the second half well. At the 69th minute Joachim scored a goal after a free kick.

Preparation for Nations League has finished. Georgia will face Kazakhstan on September 6. We have no chance with such composition but hopefully, injured players will recover.
