It Is Good but Let Us Stay on the Ground!

4:0 against Lithuania, 2:0 against Estonia. We could not dream about victories against such teams in the recent past. Yes, it was our reality.

In the both test matches the Georgian national football team has shown good game with modern football elements and nuances. Everybody agrees that Estonia is a better team than Lithuania but Crusaders managed to beat the opponent in 45 minutes.

It is obvious that these two victories were very important for the Georgian national team, especially in psychological terms.

I do not remember the matches when our team had a lot of goal moments. If we had used all these moments, the score would have been much bigger. After the match the Slovak specialist noted that their main problem is to realize such moments.

At the 6th minute young defender Jimi Tabidze scored a beautiful goal. But the second goal turned out to be even more beautiful – Vako Kazaishvili scored it at the 35th minute.

The Georgian national team started 2018 perfectly. 2 wins, 6 goals, no goals in our net… Most importantly, we watched good football. 5 months and a few days are left before the start of Nations League. Before that, the Georgian national team will hold two friendly matches (against Malta and Luxembourg in June).
