Georgian top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili lost to Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine 1:6, 5:7 in the first qualifying round of the Vienna tournament.

Last year Nikoloz overcame the qualifying draw and even beat Tomas Berdych in the first round of main draw. However, he fell to Karen Khachanov in the second round.
