Georgia’s top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated Vincent Millot of France 2:6, 7:6, 6:4 in 1/16 final of Metz tournament. The meeting lasted for 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Nika started badly and lost the first set without a chance. In the second round Basilashvili won 7:5 at tie-break. In the third, decisive set, the Georgian tennis player was losing 0:2, but he managed to make two breaks and made through to 1/8 final.

In the next round, Basilashvili will face Gilles Muller. The meeting will take place on September 21, 12:00 Tbilisi time.
