Haig's Advice for Foreign Coaches Working in Georgia: "Love Georgians"

Georgian national rugby team’s coach Milton Haig thinks that if a foreign coach working in Georgia wants to succeed, he should live here.

At the press conference after the historic match over Romania, Haig was asked an interesting question – what he would recommend the new foreign coaches of the Georgian football and basketball teams.

“My advice for them would be to live in Georgia. They definitely need to know the way of life, culture and history of Georgia. Most importantly, they should love the Georgian people, otherwise it will turn difficult to achieve success” – said Milton Haig.

Recall that a month ago Ilias Zouros of Greece was appointed as the new head coach of the Georgian basketball team and just a few days ago Slovakian Vladimir Weiss for the football team.

Milton Haig stands at the head of “The Lelos” for the fifth year.
