Georgian cadet sambo team returned from World Championship with 7 medals and second place. Youth team won 6 medals and took the third place. Champions and prize winners of three-three weight classes were found out in Sofia today. 4 from 6 Georgians stood on pedestal.
Omar Niazashvili (70kg) became world champion. Ilia Otiashvili (87kg) won silver medal and Giorgi Natatralashvili (56kg) took the third place.
Mikheil Chokheli (74kg) had the best result from the youth team – he won bronze medal.
Russian became champions in both age teams. Georgia and Armenia took the second-third place among cadets, Kazakhstan and Georgia – among youth.
