Georgian chess club “Nona” is leading European Club Cup which is underway in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje. The Georgian chess players won 5 rounds in a row.

“Nona” beat “De Stukkenjagers” of Netherlands. Nana Dzagnidze (2573) defeated Anne Haast (2384), Bela Khotenashvili (2502) won over Bianca De Jong-Muhren (2300), Nino Batsiashvili (2500) beat Linda Jap Tjoen San (2183) and Lela Javakhishvili (2463) – Tea Lanchava (2276).

As a result of it, “Nona” won 3.5:0.5, earned 10 points and is leading European Club Cup. Macedonia’s “Gambit” is in the 2^nd place with 8.0 points and Russia’s “Ugra” is in the 3^rd place with 7.0 points.

In the 6^th round the Georgian club will face Russia’s SPB which is in the 9^th place with 4 points.
