Members of Georgian youth and cadet Sambo teams succeeded at World Championship, which was held in the capital of Latvia, Riga on October 13-16.
Two Georgian teams gained 5 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals. It is remarkable, that female Sambo wrestlers gained bronze medals.
Both of the male Sambo teams took the second place, Russian teams took the first place.
Georgian Sambo wrestlers come back today with Kiev-Tbilisi flight at 17:10 o’clock.

3 silver– Cakhtang Chidrishvili (57 kg), Tornike Tatarashvili (62 kg), Lasha Zurabiani (82 kg)

Cadet team
3 gold- Mikheil Mezurnishvili (70 kg), Giorgi Bitsadze (75 kg), Aleksandre Mildiani (87 kg).
1 silver – Beka Tugushi (65 kg)
2 bronze– Abesalom Vashakmadze (52 kg), Gaga Jikhvadze (+ 87 kg)

Girls
1 bronze– Shorema Sharadze (64 kg)
