Kakha Tskhadadze: "This Team has a Perspective"

Georgian national team held the next match against world champion Germany in the qualifying circle of European Championship 2016 and lost 0:2. After the match, Georgian national team’s head coach Kakha Tskhadadze, who had his debut in this official match, answered journalists questions.

-First of all, I congratulate the German team. We had to make two changes in the first half and this is bad factor. As for our game, keeping the ball was a big problem. In this regard, we slightly improved the situation in the second half and we had a chance to score several times. I prefer to play good football and lose, than lose by anti-football. I thanked the guys for the second half. I believe that the team will play better, because they have more potential.

-What are the advantages you see from this game, which gives you basis for optimism for the future?

-The second half was positive. This is not perfection, but with hard work everything can come. We had problems in the last assist. The football player should know how to receive a ball for the decisive kick. These players have heard dust-up during the last years. I really see potential in them. I am sure they will reach result by raising the self-confidence.

-The team was clearly ahead in the second half. Was it your instruction or it was due to the account? How would you rate Dvali’s game?

-Catching the ball alone was hard for Mchedlidze. I have already mentioned, the main thing was to keep the ball, making 3-4 assists and so start the game is necessary. It is incredibly hard to start attack from the defense by one assist. As for Dvali, I am very satisfied with his play. He fantastically involved in the meeting.

-Today, receiving and keeping the ball was hard for Mchedlidze. Will you examine other forwards in other matches and how serious trauma did Amisulashvili and Okriashvili receive?

-Amisulashvili’s trauma is serious. He broke his muscle. As for Okriashvili’s trauma, it will be known tomorrow. As for Mchedlidze, I do not think he played badly. Levan worked and fought a lot.
