On June 30 Georgian Judo Team leaves for Japan for meeting. According to the preliminary agenda Georgian team had to go to Japan in these days, but due to hosts the date was delayed for ten days. “Japanese side asked to change preliminary agenda due to interior universiada. Whole country is preparing for this tournament and that’s why they delayed date of joint meeting. They promised us to hold 10 trainings with us. On June 1-23 Georgian team will train at Tokyo University. As for 10 trainings, they will be held at Tokyo Olympic Centre. Host team will have that head coach who will at World Championship”- stated Giorgi Aleksidze head of Georgian Judo Federation.
Before leaving for Japan, Georgian team will return to Dusheti Olympic Preparation Centre and will train with broaden staff. Supposedly after that Austrian head coach of Georgian Judo Tean – Piter Seisebbacher will name sportsmen who will leave for Japan again. Maybe 16-man staff will not change but 10 days are ahead and other candidates will be observed too.
