Lasha Dvali: "I Might Leave "Reading"

19-year-old Georgian defender Lasha Dvali is practicing in “Reading” of England. However, it is not known where he will continue career. He played in friendly matches of “Reading” U-21 but he may be sent on loan to other club. According to the British law, he is not allowed to play in official matches. We contacted Lasha in England.

- Now I am practicing with the main and reserve teams of “Reading”. I played in some friendly matches of U-21 team. We played “Crawley Town” and “Wellington United”. On Tuesday we will play “Exeter City”.

- Will you return to “Skonto”?

- There is a little chance to return to “Skonto”. I prefer playing in “Reading” than at the Latvian Championship.

- Are there other variants?

- Yes, I might leave “Reading” and go on loan to other club.

- Who is your agent now?

- My agent was Roma Oreshuk but contract has expired with him. Yet, I do not have agent.

- If you stay in “Reading”, you will not have a right to play in the Championship. Does this law work in U-21 team as well?

- Yes, the main team does not have friendlies during the season. U-21 team holds friendlies more often.

- Some non-EU country citizens hold official matches in the English clubs…

- In this case football player must have played 75 per cent in official matches of the national team during the last 2 years.

- Do not they count age teams?

- Unfortunately, no.
