There was held the first qualifying match of Europa League between “Metalurg” Rustavi and “Banants” of Armenia. “Metalurg” managed to beat rival 1:0, it goes without saying that this victory will help ‘Metalurg” to go through the second round of qualifying stage of this tournament.  

The first half ended without any goal and in the second half Irakli Kobalia scored a goal. He celebrated it emotionally and that’s why he was given the second yellow card and as a result he left the field. So, “Metalurg” went on playing with 10-man staff.

 “Bananats” managed to complicate the match several times but “Metalurg” managed to keep the score and finally won 1:0.
