Otar Kiteishvili, forward of Dinamo Tbilisi, is named the best young player of Georgia 2016. He received the majority of votes in the poll held by the Georgian Football Federation.

Besides Kiteishvili, the nominees were Giorgi Kharaishvili, midfielder of Saburtalo, and Otar Kakabadze, defender of Gimnastic.

“I want to thank everybody, the Georgian Football Federation. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”, - noted Kiteishvili.

The GFF’s poll ended up on December 20. Head coaches and captains of First and Second Leagues participated in the poll. Head coaches and captains of women’s and futsal clubs also participated in the poll.
