According to the decision of the GFF Disciplinary Committee, Betlemi of Pirveli Liga will start a new season in a lower league and will pay a fine of 50 000 GEL. Four players and assistant coach of this club are forever banned to work in football.
The GFF president Levan Kobiashvili made this statement at the press conference today.
The reason for this decision was the match between Kolkheti Khobi and Betlemi Kedi (4:1) which was held on May 10.
According to Levan Kobiashvili, the video of the game was analyzed and it was determined that Betlemi violated principle of sports justice.
According to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee:
Betlemi relegated to a lower league
The team will pay a fine of 50 000 GEL
Archil Bajelidze, Karen Makarian, Levan Betkashev, Teimurad Kharebava (all players of Betlemi) and assistant coach Roman Kobuladze are permanently banned from football activities.
