In the singles qualifying round of “Shenzhen Open” Oksana lost to No.2 seed Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria 2:6, 1:6. However, the Georgian has a successful start in doubles draw.

In 1/8 final Kalashnikova and Irina Buryachok of Ukraine won over the Chinese duet 6:4, 6:7 (3:7), 10:6.

The previous match lasted one hour and half.

The Georgian-Ukrainian duet earned 60 ranking points and will face another Chinese pair.

If Kalashnikova and Buryachok win the next match, they will gain 110 points. Finalists will earn 180 points and winners – 280 points.
