The events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the GNOC are under way. After the meeting of PM Irakli Garibashvili and IOC president Thomas Bach with foreign guests, the GNOC president Leri Khabelov signed a cooperation agreement with the NOC presidents of 7 countries, Estonia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Greece, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.
In the Olympic museum of the GNOC head office Bach met Georgian athletes with the IOC scholarships, the best athletes of the year and medal winners of Youth Olympic Games.
At 12:30 IOC president Thomas Bach and European Olympic Committees president Patrick Hickey are going to meet Giorgi Margvelashvili, president of Georgia. The meeting will be held at the presidential palace. Mass media is not going to attend this meeting. Also, the media will not attend the dinner at the restaurant “In the Shadow of Metekhi”.
The upcoming event is planned in Tbilisi Youth Palace on Rustaveli Avenue where children’s paintings exhibition “We are future Olympians” will take place. The media will attend this event.
