Irma Khetsuriani is vice champion of Europe. The Georgian wheelchair fencer participated in B group with saber and won the silver medal at the current Continental Championship in Casale Monferrato (Italy).

Khetsuriani defeated all the opponents in the group – Pacek of Poland, Sapozhnikova of Russia, Loufaki of Greece, Yesina of Ukraine, Nocent of Italy and Kastsiuchkova of Belarus. In ¼ final, overcame the same Nocent of Italy, in semifinal beat Russian Irina Mishurova and made through to final. In the decisive match for gold, Georgian wheelchair fencer faced Belarusian Kastiuchkova and lost 9:15.
