Gia Geguchadze: "It Was not Easy for Me to Leave "Dinamo"

Gia Geguchadze, new head coach of the Georgian U-21 team, said goodbye to his former club “Dinamo” Tbilisi. The Georgian specialist and Roman Pipia, president of “Dinamo”, held a press conference in press conference hall of “Dinamo Arena”. According to Geguchadze, it was not easy for him to leave “Dinamo”…

“It was not easy for me to leave “Dinamo”. My coaching staff and I felt very comfortable during the time we spent here. I want to thank the team, players, each employee and fans who always supported us.

As for my successor, I do not know Juraj Jarabek and I cannot say much about him. When “Zestafoni” played “Spartak” Trnava, it was obvious that his team was playing spectacular football and in my opinion, Jarabek is a sensible specialist. I wish him good luck”, - stated Geguchadze.

Roman Pipia also made a comment:

“We said goodbye to Geguchadze. “Dinamo” is thankful for his work. I think the U-21 team is as important as the national team. The Georgian Football Federation made a right decision when they chose Geguchadze”, - stated Pipia.

Gia Geguchadze started working in “Dinamo” last May.
