In EYOF, in boys' vault, Georgia’s Dmitrii Govorov came in third with 14.150 points earning the bronze medal.

Altogether, eight gymnasts took part in vaults. Sharamkop Iakho of Belarus took gold; the silver medal went to Great Britain’s Lorenzo Regini-Moran with 14.400 points.

“This is my first victory in such a big championship. The public’s support helped me a lot. Had I performed the first jump a little better I would have competed for the first prize. The second run was also not so good. Yet I regained strength and had a good final jump” said Dmitrii Govorov.

At the moment, Georgia has eight medals.
