Another Step toward World Championship

Georgia is close to winning Women’s World Team Championship which is under way in China.

In the 7th round the Georgians beat India 2.5:1.5, celebrated 6 wins in a row, earned 13 points, is in the first place and is 2 points ahead of Russia.

In the 8th round Georgia will face Armenia and in the last one – China.

Khotenashvili, Melia and Javakhishvili played draws. Meri Arabidze defeated Rout Padmini.
