Georgian U-17 Team Won Over Slovakia

Georgian U-17 team continues preparation for European Championship’s elite round. The Slovakian team was the opponent of Gocha Tkebuchava’s team. The reserve arena of “Mikheil Meskhi” hosted this match.

The match started with the Georgians advantage and ended with their victory. The first half passed without goal. The second half turned to be much better to see. At the 55th minute Arabidze scored the only goal of the match. At the 70th minute the Georgian tried to score again but in vain, the goalkeeper of visitors parried the ball easily. Finally, the Georgian U-17 team won this match – 1:0.

The Georgian and Slovakian teams will have another friendly match on February 26. The meeting will start at the same time, 14:00.

On March 3rd, the apprentices of Gocha Tkebuchava go to Germany and will hold the last meeting for preparing for the elite round.
