Georgian rugby player Giorgi Zhgenti who started the current season in “Bayonne” of Top 14 cancelled contract with the club and joined “Brive”.

The 29-year-old rugby player was officially presented at the beginning of this week. His debut was held on February 19. Zhgenti showed up at the 51^st minute in the match against “La Rochelle”. Karlen Aseishvili was in lineup of “Brive” and played 49 minutes. Lekso Kaulashvili was in lineup of “La Rochelle” and did not show up after the first half.

Another Georgian Goderdzi Shvelidze played for “Brive”. He started playing at the 49^th minute. The 36-year-old veteran will play for “Brive” until 2017. Anton Peikrishvili was not on the list.

“Brive” is in the 10^th place with 35 points. “La Rochelle” has 34 points and is in the 11^th place. The 18^th round matches of Top 14 will be held on February 21.
